Community Commitment

Our community has supported us through the years as we built a farm in the suburbs. We are eager to make a difference in our community by sharing resources and cultivating connections with our members, neighbors, and local civic organizations.

Share It Forward

Down to Earth Harvest has built a relationship with the West Chester Food Cupboard through weekly donations of fresh produce. Members also have the oportunity to contribute by making donations through our farm stand.

We also offer 10% discounts for households that qualify for reduced lunches. No questions asked and members can self register at sign-up.

Outreach

When you're passionate about what you do it comes naturally to share it with others. Down to Earth Harvest is eager to contribute to local organizations and spread awareness around local agriculture and healthy habits. If there is an opportunity to host, speak or partner with civic organizations we love to say β€˜yes.’

Upcoming Events

Down to Earth Harvest hosts member events throughout the year. From our spring plant sale and lil farmers events to pick-your-own opportunities and farm tours we enjoy sharing an experience with our community. Pick up days on the farm are also a great time to say hello, play on the playground or pick a fresh veggie with one of the resident farm kids.

Plant Sale

May 4th and 5th 9am-3pm
Open to the public

At Down to Earth Harvest we think everyone should have a farm! Or at least a garden! Even if it is just a container.

Stop by our farm and set yourself up for success this spring with quality garden starts, organic gardening know-how from our team and the same high quality organic amendments we know and trust to send your garden to the next level. Garden like a farmer!

Farmer Bob will be leading a farm tour at 1pm for those who want to get into the weeds about farming or have a general interest in the nuts and bolts of DTEH!
